my desk spoke!!
45 days were left for the last semister-I started to collect the notes as per the syllabus(whose contents were new to me), but some how got the notes from my friends rather collecting from the lecturers so as to avoid lecture for bunking regular classes. Finally acquired lots of xerox sheets .
30 days were left, I felt - "its time to start! NO I don't have much time to complete and revise all the units..so i have to be seriously serious now,but still 30 days are left. okay shut up! I don't want to regret after the exam by telling myself - 'i would have started studying a bit early' , which I have even uttered many time in past but NO not this time .yes, today I will count the pages -how much I have to complete!
15 days were left,Almost more than half of the course was over but still the rest were to be completed which became the reason for adding some more hours for studies , locked the bike in garage, polished the shoes and kept them in drawer, started to use eye drops,switched off the mobile but a peculiar thing happened-As the burden of the course was decreasing the nervousness was increasing(didnt knew why!).One more thing I observed - I was loving to stay in sleep for more and more hours as a buffalo loves to stay in water in summer.
10 days were left, it was the time for revision ,revision and revision,, alarm clock was also having a nice workout.
It was 3 am ,after getting up from the bed poked water in eyes,filled waterbottle and went straight to the desk wiped the dust and then the conversation began between the desk and me ->desk started-"good morning "
i replied"good morning"
"how come today so early "
"actually only 10 days are left so thought to start getting up early and revise the lessons"
"thanks to these exams of yours for which at least I am regularly wiped for some days otherwise you use to pile books ,cds,rough sheets whatever u can on me like am a dustbin "
"ohh I am sorry "
"please don't be because I know after this exams will over u will again make me wear a coat of dust and pile all nonsense things on me in a harsh way, you self-centered pig cant you feel the pain of mine, u only think of me at the time of exams"
"okay am sorry ,I try will cure your complains"

"can i start my studies now"
"ya sure and best of luck and one more thing can you please paint me after your exams and the last thing is just warn all the brats not to doodle on me "
