Memories that sparkles*

There are three options, one can think of life.
1.life is too short, there is no time to do anything.
2.life is too long, there is lot of time for doing something.
3.life is unpredictable, we should do as much as we can because lost time can never
be found.
> He choosed to follow the third option. He was born in 1913 in a landlord family (had royal blood within him). As we know all mothers are very caring for there children but his mother died when he was just three years old and since then his childhood passed under a strict observation of his father, who was a very famous landlord. He was good in his studies and passed his matriculation in a high school in his village, then he joined ISE in RAVENSHAW college(cuttack), which was under Patna university, Bihar at his time(at present its an university). After completing his medical science(got the prefix"Dr.") he joined Orissa government job as a physician in the central prison of Berhampur. He was also among many who had seen the world war II, which was fought in 1942. When his posting was in central prison, Berhampur –India was still under the rule of British. He left the job under British government being inspired by eminent freedom fighter like Late. Nava krushana choudhry, Late. Nava krushna dash, Late Dr. Hara krushna Mohatav, Late Dr.Raghunath Ray. He was been liked by his surroundings as because he was very orthodox, conservative, straightforward in his approach and he always like to take the bull by the horns.
In a small town named Jatni, which was surrounded by many villages he practiced medical privately for about three decades. He used to be known as a very popular doctor in his localities(now even many paise him for his past noble deeds at his localities). Then a turn came in his work , people wanted him in the social spear, as a result a vibrating enthusiasm started to grow in him for social welfare, which developed the inclination in him to join politics. Ultimately he became the first chairman of Jatni panchayat sameti. He remained busy in politics and was well known for taking bold actions and steps for the people, he dedicated himself for the development of areas coming under Jatni panchayat sameti without bothering about his own interest and financial position. Beside panchayat sameti he was attached to :
-Educational Institution (member in board of directors in P.N.College(khurda)(now its an autonomous college),Jatni boys high school, Jatni girls high school).
-Co-operative Organization(member in RMCS, RCMS, apex marketing society, central co-operative bank )
-Agriculture organization (syndicate member in OUAT)
Being qualified, honest and dedicated man he also got chances to represent district and state as delicate to different state of Indian territory to observe the co-operative movement and panchayat raj movement in India during his period. With the passing away of time he had also to confront some political opponent who didn’t favor his ethics but they remained unbitten till he completed his tenure in politics. Even if he was indulged in politics but he never forgot to do his noble work i.e to serve people as a doctor.
Since by then corruption, lobbying, manipulation and money started playing its role in the field of politics, he couldn’t compromise with his ethics to get a lift for the political carrier and he decided to take a loop and went back to his pavilion to look after his parental land lordship at his native, where he solely involved himself with his agriculture for someyears…All of a sudden his kith and kin received a shocking message on 5th june 1985 “DR.PRANNATH CHHOTRAY HAD LEFT FOR HEAVENLY ABODE WITH A CARDIAC FAILURE” which was quiet unexpected for the family and for his friends because as he was in his sound health, but some doctors even said and say –luckiest people die from cardiac failure to have a peaceful death without pain(the pain use to last for a few seconds).
*For development and interest of the locality he never bothered about his individual financial position and materialistic achievement.
*At present days his inheritants are being recognized by Dr.Prannath Chhotray’s name and fame in the localities.
( I was not that lucky to face this great sole as he left for heaven prior to my arrival on this planet, but am proud be the grandson of such a person)

Inclination towards corruption!

Recently i was making myself read an article(hoping it may help in group disscussion) about all the scams held in the country. It had mentioned a brief historical records of scams since 1948,the year after the country got independence(may be the british were not allowing anyone to keep records of scams during there rulling period). The great leader who were tagged as corrupted, which made them so famous that at present we are still getting to read there name and deeds in newspaper, even some of their kith and kins are presently rulling the country, states, cities and streets(hope the present leaders may not be tagged by any source as corrupted as their ancestors in future or may be!!)what i got to know ->more the year and cost of living hiked simultaneously the rate and price of corruption also hiked in multiples(In 1949, Rs25000 was much to fix the 'price' for making one corrupt but now a few millions(Rs) feels like not enough to be named as 'corrupted price',this is what Inflation is!!!(maybe!)).All of a sudden an odd thought came to my mind which was inevitable(thoughts even rule the king),it was like-Charity begins at home so as corruption, when a kid scores good in exam his father getting overwhelmed with happiness use to gift him a surprice party or a bicycle ,then when the same kid grow old his desire increases and he starts to fix a price for his duty or work-"Father,if you promise me to get a bike and a mobile then i too promise to be the topper in my class" and the father agrees (can we call this inclination towards getting corrupt!), if the same kid becomes a docter, politician(a path maker or leader), etc.-Is he going to be satisfied with deserving amount of payment he gets!!!
