1st-feb sunday- hard to forget.

I was to go to an excursion at early morning with about 32 pupils of an art class as a guide so was having some responsibility,in which I am not good at but some how managed. As it is so relish to getup early morning at 5.00 am on Sunday with the help of one alarm clock and two mobile reminders( with hardship got up at 6 am) and taking bath with chilled water in winter to get ready with which my day started. The bus in which all have to get up for the excursion was waiting at my aunty's pavilion where the art class use to held which was much far from my place so ignited the bike and started. On the way was praying not to suffer from any odd happening and suddenly my bike coughed, again coughed and went to coma which made me recall i forgot to fuel the bike the day before and its too early for a petrol pump to open.On Saturday had donated 350 ml of blood to red cross for which I was so very active but as the 'morning patience level' was on high volume instead of taking out the fault of the bike and kicking it just parked it in parking area gave some coins to the guard and took the ticket and kept it safely in the wallet then took a auto rickshaw and reached near the bus(was just 30mins late) but after reaching thanked God as all the others were also maintained punctuality as me and even some of the parents (parents were not allowed for excursion)with there kids stopped the bus to catch it at the middle of the road, after 1 hr of humpty dumpty road we all reached at the spot where there was a temple with sculptures of 19th century , a pond ,a entry gate and two tube wells. All the pupils started to draw and paint whatever they could, after a halt of 2 hrs all took breakfast packets and got ready to return (how can these 3 to 4 ft kids be so active!!).

while returning in the bus all the pupils followed the convention of excursion i.e anthaskari .In the whole journey the book-'autobiography of a yogi ' kept me in meditation mode.As the bus reached the place from where it picked all ,the parents , drivers ,uncle and aunts of the pupils surrounded the bus and looked at it as a space craft have launched with aliens and with it at last the exhausted excursion was over.

The scorching sun was having a healthy contract with the climate so me decided to stay at my aunty's place till evening for a series of nap but but forgot-> how can that be possible on Sunday when all gather at a same place to discuss the deeds of the past week and plan for the next week but still didn't lost hope and got a sick nap and the rest of the time read some of the pages of the book. At evening took a coke bottle(1 lt,empty) for carrying petrol to the place where i had left the bike .On Sunday evening all the auto rickshaws drivers will be busy in carrying there wife(s), children(s),father, mother to parks ,movies then consoled myself by thinking they are even human beings ,they have desires ,they also need rest(but why in such situation of mine they need to enjoy and take rest!!nonsense) .Anyhow got an auto and reached, saw my bike,it was waiting for me opened the bottle smelled the petrol(i love the smell of petrol). Suddenly the Mobile started to ring -

"hello"

"hello doodle, where r u ? aree you have left the keys of ur bike up here"

"acha ,,,,okey"

After dropping the call still searched the bag subconsciously for the keys if i may find it.. Simply holding the bottle , hearing the music (thank God the ipod was with me ) walked 3 kms to reach my humble abode, didn't spoke to anyone and wasn't having the authority to blame others as I had made the mistake, went to the bathroom saw the mirror, smiled and told "God is testing your patience"and the mirror also did the same. After getting freshened squeezed a half lemon in the a glass full of water with a pinch of salt drank it then took out the cycle, with full of dust it was almost about to become an antique piece, went to bring back my bike's keys (cycling after a gap of two months for 28 kms give eternal peace to legs).

At the parking place the guard looked and spoke "sir, I saw u before 2 hrs ,why didn't u take your bike? "

"had been to bring my cycle to keep it over here , I will take it tomorrow"

"what!!, okey sir."

after tearing the wind for few mins reached at my habitat ,took my dinner. The bed was seeming like heaven without wasting no time jumped on it with the book and slept reading about the sages, saints, Himalayas.. awwww .

Memories that sparkles*

There are three options, one can think of life.
1.life is too short, there is no time to do anything.
2.life is too long, there is lot of time for doing something.
3.life is unpredictable, we should do as much as we can because lost time can never
be found.
> He choosed to follow the third option. He was born in 1913 in a landlord family (had royal blood within him). As we know all mothers are very caring for there children but his mother died when he was just three years old and since then his childhood passed under a strict observation of his father, who was a very famous landlord. He was good in his studies and passed his matriculation in a high school in his village, then he joined ISE in RAVENSHAW college(cuttack), which was under Patna university, Bihar at his time(at present its an university). After completing his medical science(got the prefix"Dr.") he joined Orissa government job as a physician in the central prison of Berhampur. He was also among many who had seen the world war II, which was fought in 1942. When his posting was in central prison, Berhampur –India was still under the rule of British. He left the job under British government being inspired by eminent freedom fighter like Late. Nava krushana choudhry, Late. Nava krushna dash, Late Dr. Hara krushna Mohatav, Late Dr.Raghunath Ray. He was been liked by his surroundings as because he was very orthodox, conservative, straightforward in his approach and he always like to take the bull by the horns.
In a small town named Jatni, which was surrounded by many villages he practiced medical privately for about three decades. He used to be known as a very popular doctor in his localities(now even many paise him for his past noble deeds at his localities). Then a turn came in his work , people wanted him in the social spear, as a result a vibrating enthusiasm started to grow in him for social welfare, which developed the inclination in him to join politics. Ultimately he became the first chairman of Jatni panchayat sameti. He remained busy in politics and was well known for taking bold actions and steps for the people, he dedicated himself for the development of areas coming under Jatni panchayat sameti without bothering about his own interest and financial position. Beside panchayat sameti he was attached to :
-Educational Institution (member in board of directors in P.N.College(khurda)(now its an autonomous college),Jatni boys high school, Jatni girls high school).
-Co-operative Organization(member in RMCS, RCMS, apex marketing society, central co-operative bank )
-Agriculture organization (syndicate member in OUAT)
Being qualified, honest and dedicated man he also got chances to represent district and state as delicate to different state of Indian territory to observe the co-operative movement and panchayat raj movement in India during his period. With the passing away of time he had also to confront some political opponent who didn’t favor his ethics but they remained unbitten till he completed his tenure in politics. Even if he was indulged in politics but he never forgot to do his noble work i.e to serve people as a doctor.
Since by then corruption, lobbying, manipulation and money started playing its role in the field of politics, he couldn’t compromise with his ethics to get a lift for the political carrier and he decided to take a loop and went back to his pavilion to look after his parental land lordship at his native, where he solely involved himself with his agriculture for someyears…All of a sudden his kith and kin received a shocking message on 5th june 1985 “DR.PRANNATH CHHOTRAY HAD LEFT FOR HEAVENLY ABODE WITH A CARDIAC FAILURE” which was quiet unexpected for the family and for his friends because as he was in his sound health, but some doctors even said and say –luckiest people die from cardiac failure to have a peaceful death without pain(the pain use to last for a few seconds).
*For development and interest of the locality he never bothered about his individual financial position and materialistic achievement.
*At present days his inheritants are being recognized by Dr.Prannath Chhotray’s name and fame in the localities.
( I was not that lucky to face this great sole as he left for heaven prior to my arrival on this planet, but am proud be the grandson of such a person)

Inclination towards corruption!

Recently i was making myself read an article(hoping it may help in group disscussion) about all the scams held in the country. It had mentioned a brief historical records of scams since 1948,the year after the country got independence(may be the british were not allowing anyone to keep records of scams during there rulling period). The great leader who were tagged as corrupted, which made them so famous that at present we are still getting to read there name and deeds in newspaper, even some of their kith and kins are presently rulling the country, states, cities and streets(hope the present leaders may not be tagged by any source as corrupted as their ancestors in future or may be!!)what i got to know ->more the year and cost of living hiked simultaneously the rate and price of corruption also hiked in multiples(In 1949, Rs25000 was much to fix the 'price' for making one corrupt but now a few millions(Rs) feels like not enough to be named as 'corrupted price',this is what Inflation is!!!(maybe!)).All of a sudden an odd thought came to my mind which was inevitable(thoughts even rule the king),it was like-Charity begins at home so as corruption, when a kid scores good in exam his father getting overwhelmed with happiness use to gift him a surprice party or a bicycle ,then when the same kid grow old his desire increases and he starts to fix a price for his duty or work-"Father,if you promise me to get a bike and a mobile then i too promise to be the topper in my class" and the father agrees (can we call this inclination towards getting corrupt!), if the same kid becomes a docter, politician(a path maker or leader), etc.-Is he going to be satisfied with deserving amount of payment he gets!!!
